Can you post the Nissan grounding kit instructions?
I think the mounting points are different from Insaneamine's kit, and I would like to see the diff.
OR
post pics of the mounting locations.
Thanks!!!

Where did you get the kit? I want the silver grounding kit for my G but I've only seen gold on japanparts. Also, how much did you pay? It looks very nice.
Thanks

Where did you get the two-tone engine cover? My 2003.5 has an all black cover.
Can someone tell me why a gounding kit is needed? On my G35S I measured less than 0.1 ohm from the top of the intake plenum to the negative terminal of the battery. From the throttle body to the negative terminal of the battery measured 0.0 ohms. I installed 4 gage cables from the intake plenum to the grounding lug on the front timing case and from that grounding lug to the negative battery lug. There was no change in resistances. There was no noticable change in noise, vibration, or idle speed. The mechanics in the engine lab at work say that resistance would be a concern only above 3-4 ohms. Does anyone have any data? So far, adding a grounding kit sounds like adding Christmas ornaments.

billR,, I've seen Alex's car in person and studied the grounding kit. Yes it is different. It has 6 cables instead of 5, different connection points. I don't know if you'll notice a difference in the car, but the system was designed by Nissan.

Re: here are pics of engine mods
I'm still skeptical about grounding. The monstorpost over at freshalloy on gorunding has one dyno run that they got 1.4 RWHP. People are claiming all over the place that they could feel the difference. I don't believe it. It is very hard to notice a 0.5% increase in hp. It seems to me its more psychosematic (sp?)....Placebo effect. I put about 20-30 Hp worth of mods on my SHO. You could tell it had a different personality but it wasnt that different.
Re: here are pics of engine mods
pardon my stupidity, but what does grounding do anyways??

Re: here are pics of engine mods
I agree. One would think that a 0.5% HP increase would be lost in the "noise" of changes in temperature, humidity, air pressure, the dyno itself, etc.
In addition to the placebo effect there is also the seduction of "high tech".
