Rack and Pinion parts relate to Strut and Sway bar??

Hey G35 drivers,

One of Infiniti dealer trying to make non-sense case with me so they can avoid my warranty work. I want to make case against them so I can obtain proper repair.

They claiming that rack and pinion damage is relate to aftermarket spring, strut, and sway bar. Is that true? My car had dropped barely 1/4" inch using H tech spring and to my understanding, r&p has nothing to do with suspension work, I mean r&p is mainly for turning front wheels?

Pls advise your thought

Thanks

Pres

Oh, I left that out. Well, last week I installed Stillen sway bar w/ Suspension technique bushing. Well, after install I started to hear "tump" sound on the uneven road, so I took it to the shop and this guy tells me that right side of bushing feel loose, so he added extra black rubber layer inside of S/T bushing to make it tighter. After that, I now hear metal "creak" or should I say clinking noise everytime I go over the bumps in low speed. I figure this extra layer is the cause of the issue, so I took it back to him and he started to saying that noise is cause from my rack and pinion. What do you think?
