New NA Build for my G35 Coupe!

I probably have a different background than most people on these forums. I raced in the NHRA's Modified Eliminator for ten years with a normally aspirated car. I like high revving NA engines... they are a blast to drive. To be honest, I'm just not a FI fan.

It is +0.020 over... does that count?

I was one of the first people to purchase UpRev's Osiris when it first came out. The e-tuned maps made quite a difference in the performance of my car. My G went from 250whp to 268whp with Osiris, headers, and HFC's on Jeremy's DynoJet.
I wanted to get a real time tune on a dyno and I wanted Jeremy Tibbs to tune it. I had been thinking about getting a Haltech and Jeremy said, "Let's do it." Spent a few days at the Performance Factory with Jeremy trying lots of options on the Haltech... also thanks to Hal for some tips... The result after adding the Haltech with nothing else was a gain from 268 rwhp to 286rwhp... pretty good gain for a modded stock block NA engine...
I'm sure you realize that none of the piggyback or standalone engine management systems can control the rev limit on a VQ35 RevUp engine. The OEM ECU controls the rev limit through the drive-by-wire system. That meant that I needed to flash the ECU to increase the rev limit for my new engine. Most of the big shops flash the ECU when they do a build... they just don't talk about it much... These shops don't always raise the rev limit, sometimes they just remove the speed limit or cancel out diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's, CELs).
So, I used Osiris Tuner Pro to flash the rev limit above the actual limit... that allowed Jeremy to control everything with the Haltech. It seems to have worked out well, so far. There is an obvious redundancy in having two EMS systems, but that's the way it is for now.

hmmm... well, I went form TS to Osiris, and I've spent more on other things that made less hp... maybe Haltech is worth a look?

If you have a Tuner that is comfortable with tuning the OEM ECU with Osiris Tuner Pro, I'm not sure you would gain any additional power by adding a Haltech. If you have a RevUP, you will still need Osiris Tuner Pro to set the rev limits anyway.
I've heard that the Haltech will have some method of setting the rev limits on a revUp in the future... We'll just have to wait and see...

Here's a video of it idling with a few blips. The sound doesn't come through real well, but you can get the idea.
I have a video of one of the dyno runs. I'll have to hunt it up tonight when I get home.

Any chance you'll be able to post up some videos?
