Has anyone ever thought of or considered, swapping in the 5.6L V8 from the Nissan Titan/Armada? I like the idea of having the great low end power of the V8 with the nice high powerband of DOHC. My G is a 2005 G35X, and being an AWD Sedan there isnt too much support in the aftermarket, and I wanted to do something different. Thanks all.

There is a pro-am drift driver with a VK-powered G35 coupe. I think it is supercharged as well. MONSTER power and torque! Search for that on google or something and you should find some significant info. I don't know of a VK-powered X off the top of my head, though. Thanks for all the info and links guys...that Pro am car is amazing. I was wondering if anyone knew about the possibility of mounting the VK56 to my 5AT in my G35X....I like the LS1 idea but the Tremec 56 6 speed manual doesnt have a transfer case for turning my front differential. If the LS1 can be mated to the 5AT I would definitely consider that as well. Thanks again!
