Official: Car won't start
So I pulled my engine to take off the turbos and I'm having trouble getting it to start when it's back to stock.
Current state: MAF is hanging loose, no airbox, grounded to engine via screw Plenum is split apart, all vacuum hoses are attached I checked... voltage to coil packs voltage to injectors power to ECM power to IPDM pulled the gas line off the regulator and primed the pump, pissed out gas - poured gas down the intake runners as well flywheel positioning sensor The car turns over but won't fully crank. I think it's a grounding issue, but I've checked all the grounds I can think of. Maybe need to recheck them. Any ideas? |

Plenum split apart?:confused2:

The car won't start with the plenum together either. I took it apart to check voltages on the injectors and coil packs.
The car should start, it will just have a rough idle and die. |

I just remembered I have one step colder NGK plugs. Again, I would think it would start, but trying to think of everything.

when ever something like this happens to me. It's always something so retarded that i over looked. Like forgeting plug a sensor in or plugging it in all the way..

I really think you're right with it being something dumb, but it's pissing me off  |
sounds more like a grounding problem

if you maf is not plugged in and attached to the intake manifold, it will not run.

It would start with out the maf sensor just would run very bad. I would go back check all the connections and see if one is half way connected, then check the fuses and see if something popped.
It is trying to turn over but not catching right? |

It is trying to turn over but not catching right? I checked the dedicated 12V, it's reading the same as the battery. I checked the ignition pulse, it's reading 0.32V which its suppose to be 0.1-0.4V, so that's good. But it's not firing. |
I still don't understand if your plenum is split apart or not, but if its wide open it might not start and your MAF hanging loose and all may prevent it from starting too, when my MAF was out it would not start up. But thats just my experience.
