motor problem
Everytime when I start the car there is a loud shuttering sound coming from the engine. Ypu can also hear it from inside the car. It stays constant even while I'm driving. It was really noticable whene I let go of the clutch right after shifting. So maybe its the the clutch or maybe its a belt. I haven't done the 30k mile maintenance yet which means no oil change yet either. I thought that it may have been low on oil but there was never any check engine light. This really scaring me. I'm hoping that once I do an oil change the noise will go away but hope that someone out there experienced the same problem and can help me.
thanks,
ken

yea, i've done that, and i have more than half the oil remaining. but now, its mostly apparent when the clutch is engaged and when slowing down to a stop. the shuttering noise is bad.
any help is appreciated.

ok, well i added a quart of oil, and that seemed to eliminate the problem. But, wow a whole quart. I took it into cerritos infiniti and Hans seemed to listen to my problem and now the car is on the oil consumption test. They have a new service manager so i hope things are better than b4.
