Maintenance sticky?

I was wondering if anyone else can see a benifit for a maintenance thread.
A lot of us like to keep our Gs in pristine condition and like to do things ourselves.
I know there are members with good practical automotive experience that would benefit a lot of members.
I know I would appreciate it.

Re: Maintenance sticky?

I agree......, there are some good basic DIY articles there.

I was thinking more along the lines of Tips & Tricks in addition to basic oil changes & brake pads.

Re: Maintenance sticky?

I'll start it off....
When changing to my winter wheels;
one of the things I do while it is up on jacks with the wheels off, is clean the wheel wells & give them a couple of coats of wax (Zaino). Then Snow & ice doesn't stick & build up as much.
