need help!!! long block just installed, now Im hearing noises from the engine!

Heres some background info. I had some oil consumption issues with my car, so I took it to infiniti. did the whole oil consumption test ordeal which verified the oil consumption. infiniti decided to give me a long block which im grateful for.

well, picked up my car today. the engine runs great. feels like I got a new car again. then..... after getting off the highway and driving around town, I started hearing a clunking noise coming from the drivers side of the engine compartment. it only happens when I hit little dips in the road. I tried to isolate where it was coming from so I went to this place that has a lot of speed bumps and bam, everytime I went over a bump, I can hear the clunking noise. i pulled over and opened my hood to see if anythings loose. theres some play in the radiator and that might be part of what im hearing, but the clunking is louder than just a loose radiator. maybe I have a an engine mount loose? IDK, anyways im taking the car into the dealership on monday.

I guess I just wanted to vent!! but yeah, has anyone ever had this issue? what might be causing the noise? any help is appreciated.

Thanks!!

Angelo

Can't say it's necessary to, but possible. It'll only take a minute to check after you jack up the car or you can take it back to the dealer.

Something was not bolted back together. It could be a bunch of things.

Take it back ASAP.

My guess is they dropped the motor out the bottom for replacement since it is a lot faster and they missed something down there...
