My 2004 G35 coupe with 58K has a slight burning rubber smell after driving normally (not aggressively). The smell comes inside the cabin and seems to be coming through the vents, only when the heat is on, and the car is stopped or at a light. I've seen many posts on this but no one actually every posts a concrete determination as to what is causing the problem...

does anyone know why this happens???

 

that's funny..I have the 07 body..and it also has a burning rubber smell. I have no idea where it's coming from.

 

clutch is goin out. Mine does it too.
