Looks cool to me, but better with the stock 18" with the 19" to me it lost some symmetry....IMO...I'm not to fond of drops that throw the eveness of the well off with the tire's roundness....

But it is slight....G35 coupe's like BMW's dont reallt crave drops when u put larger wheels on them....they just sit nice as is...not saying the drops look bad just sayin I dont think it makes them look better or puts them in the right stance...

Unlike the G35 sedan that needs a drop when U put wheels on it because it starts to look hiked up and gets too much of that open wheel well look..

Lexus for my luxury and G35 Coupe for my speed. I must say...Life is not always a B!TCH

Nice drop....one question....

Do you tend to scrape the front air dam more now on speedbumps or slightly graded declines like a garage?

calejohnson - The drop is subtle if not parked next to another coupe. I brought the car home and my wife was like "what did you do to it" (thats just what I wanted to hear after spending the money!) but once you really look at it you can tell its been dropped. I think it makes the cars front end look a bit longer. Really did it more for increased handling instead of looks.

NYCG35 - I think I'll stay with the 18's. With the commute I have 19's would be a bit harsh for my liking. If you look at the rear of the car, it dosent have near as much negative camber as a stock 330Ci. But when the did the alignment there wasn't much room for adjustment. I have the before and after charts in the car, but I think it was tweaked about a 1/2 degree off from stock. Not enough to really mess with.

joepaniolo - No problems going up driveways or speed bumps. BUT.... went through two brushless car washes and bottomed out on both of them! First one hit up front pulling in, the other place I hit the rear sway on the wash rails leaving. Guess I'll have to wash it at home from now on...

i'll repost my question since I got skipped over....

Did you need any type of alignment kit or did you just pop the coils on and have it aligned and done? Thanks!

Sorry man.. The only alignment kit I could find was around $400 from Stillen and I wasn't ready to pay that at all. They just put the springs on and realigned it. My car didnt have much if any adjustment so they got it as close as possible. I can post the before and after alignment specs if you like

no, thats all I needed to know...that was one of the reasons I hadn't lowered my G35 yet was the cost of the alignment and parts...but if they can align within specs and not have tirewear, I'll lower it now...

THANKS!

Could you post the before and after alignment specs, I'd like to see where you were about to adjust to with the stock adjustment system on a 1" drop. Thanks

Opps, my post should have read. " I'd like to see how you were able to adjust with the stock adjustment system on a 1" drop". Sorry about that.

The shop told me there "wasnt much room at all for adjustment. we got it as close to stock as we could". The camber still looks the same to me, but the #'s are different. I'll still post them to give you a better idea.
