oil consumtion and MREV2

Has anyone found a direct correlation with the OC issue and an MREV2 & 5/16 spacer install.
I have an 06' 6mt coupe and I'm looking to install the MREV2 and 5/16 spacer but I wouldn't want to go with an install that might create future probs.
I've been keeping an eye on any OC probs with my ride and I think it's still ok, just playing it safe.
Couldn't find anything on the boards referring to this.
Any info is much appreciated.

Oh yeah and if anyone is looking to sell let me know.

I have had mine on for a year and the spacer for two months, no change in OC.

no connection between the two.

If you are worried then monitor your OC a little while longer, I'd say at least two oil change intervals. If everything is nominal then go ahead and install the MREV/Spacer. I had my MREV/Spacer sitting in my garage for a few months while going through the OC tests with the dealer. The weekend after I had my new engine installed I put them on.

Had my mrev2+5/16 md spacer installed since December 2008 and no problems at this time. It just brings more enjoyment of my daily driven Gcoupe. As far as oil consumption goes, I haven't had any issues yet since day one(summer of 2006). It is said somewhere here in the forum that some cars have it, some others don't.

Again, I haven't been a victim yet on oil consumption issues and/or Mrev2+md spacer problems(highly doubt there will be problems with the mod), but I member here to the forum and of course, I will bring in the attention if any problems occur.

There is no correlation...

OC is a result of issues with one of, or a combination of the following- valve guides, piston rings or crankcase ventilation.
