Hello: I'm new to this forum. Just bought a 6-MT sedan. When it comes to warranty work, are Infiniti dealers cool or are they di**s? I got quoted $2,100.00 for installing an AEM cai and Stillen Cat Back. That sounds a little steep! I can install both myself(did it on my Mustang, no problem), but need to know if they will try to give me a hard time.

I used to just take off the CAI when I took it to the dealer, with the mustang, need to know if it's the same with infiniti.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

besides trying to screw you with install prices, your dealer is better than some that won't even touch an aftermarket part (like mine.)

Both the exhaust and cai are very doable if you are even somewhat mechanically inclined. You shouldn't have much of a problem doing either.

 

My dealer hasn't said a word or denied me any warranty work with my car. I have a Stillen Intake and 350z suspension.
