I did not, i just had to disconnect the baterry for the night and everything including idle went to normal.

I didn't have any issues when I cleaned mine...and i was pretty abusive with the butterfly, making sure it was spotless. I cleaned the TB since i had problems of the car dying as soon as it turns over from cranking it up. Cleaning the TB solved that real quick.

I don't understand how so many people had issues with it. Did you guys do the pedal reset procedures and was it done correctly? I find that even some mechanics are unaware and have little knowledge about fixing things. This includes the dealership. It's easier for them to just replace it which many people here were informed and instructed to do.

BTW, i'd like to see that statement about "not to clean the throttle body" in the service manual.

I dont see that anywhere ...

DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY OVERNIGHT WOULD ALSO RESET THE ECU .

^yes, it is generally a better way to reset.

Not only a ECU reset but some idle, accelerator, pedal, valve, etc. learning procedures as well.
