Taking the hit on the trade-in would be less expensive, so.... I don't think you'll get many replies to your post. That said, GTM can do the swap if you're willing to pay. PM Sam@GTM.

If you're going to go to all the expense of swappiing motors, it would be silly to just put in a G37. Get a LS2 or 3..

From what ive seen the G37 motor is to big and requires cutting/fitting to make it work in our engine bay. What I wanna see is the 3.5L HR motor out of a 2007 350z dropped into the G.

Do you have a 5AT or 6MT? Why go through the hassle and headache of figuring out what will work with what when you could so some head work and cams and make more power than a 3.7L?

You could, but your still going to have the headache of getting the block to fit (if it doesnt already) and a new ECU. If you got the $$$ and time to do it, why not, it would be sick! But realistically whos got that much time and $$$. Most of us dont, especially in this economy

Not from the looks of your car sir, but you are right. Thats why I was more curious as to see if the 3.5L HR motor from the 07 350z would fit and then go from there

I started really throwing $$$ into it just as it was falling. My latest money pit was the long tube headers, the wife really bitched at that and was pretty upset, so i am not at a holding point for a very long time. I promised her we would save up for a new car for her (my other car) shhh
