Re: **Alignment Prob**

Ahh thanks for those posts, now I have a better understanding. It seems like the camber is what's giving the wheel that appearance of it being on an angle and out of the fender. I want that for the better traction and aggressive look's on the sedan. I think i need an alignment and will have to sacrifice the camber rite? Damm lol

Re: **Alignment Prob**

well, its your car and your wheels. you can tell the alignment guy to increase or decrease the specs to your liking. it just makes sense to have the alignment done so at least the front left / right and rear left / right sides have equal settings relative to each other.

imo, any drop should call for a trip to the alignment shop. just the more aggressive drops may / will need aftermarket suspension kits to "correct" the specs.

like i said earlier, im far from a car expert. hopefully someone will chime in with a better explanation.

Re: **Alignment Prob**

I have never heard of them not being able to get your car within specs after doing the front suspension. I have dropped several with springs and aligned them no problem

Re: **Alignment Prob**

iLLG35, I think what you're after are spacers that will make your wheels come out to the fender line.

Re: **Alignment Prob**

"Within specs" or absolutely at the precise mid point between the very wide for warranty oem specs.

Careful of the phrase "inspec".......kind of like staying on the right side of the road vs staying in your lane on a 8 lane highway.

Cambers/casters should be within 0.1 degree side to side and the thrust angle perfectly 0.000 degrees. Toe should always be equi-split side to side.

Also alignment should be done with you or your weight* sitting in drivers seat..........this tells you which shops are precise and which just follow the good enough for average dolt ignorant uneducated owner method.

* weight compresses the drivers springs more thus increase the drivers side camber........common causes of lane drift.

Perfection is an extra cost items just with in specs is the warranty.

Re: **Alignment Prob**

Mambo I was planning on getting those also, but thzt just pushes your wheel out to the fender. I want the slanted angle of my wheel, I dont want it to be 90 degrees and perfectly straight to the ground if you get what im saying..

Re: **Alignment Prob**

Well, the spacers are gonna push the wheel to the outside. The camber angle will give you that look that you're after. I personally do care for even tire wear, therefore I am opposite to what you want to do.
