**Alignment Prob**
I got my Tein S-Tech Springs installed a few ago. This past Friday I got an alignment done, and they tell me that they can't put it back...do I need a new camber kit? What should I do???

Re: **Alignment Prob**
I'm guessing it's the front giving you a problem. There are no factory adjustments for the front camber or toe. Unless you want to replace your tires ever 5k or less, get a kit.

Re: **Alignment Prob**
hmm...
5000 mikes? I've had my ibach for over 9000 miles with no significant tire wear in the front.
my car's rear tires were able to get back into factory spec for camber and toe. my front camber and caster are out of factory spec.
there are aftermarket camber rods to adjust rear into spec and aftermarket control arms (?) to adjust the front back into spec.
BUT like I said, I've had about 9000 miles with no prob. I'm riding on stock Michelin Pilot Sports

Re: **Alignment Prob**
yeah i was wondering if i wanna drop my car and be a little on the inexpensive side, not LOSE (dont care so much about gains but dont wanna lose) performance, should i get some teins with camber arms or what? I don't want to go the route of just getting springs because i dont wanna run the chance of not being able to get my car aligned right. would i be fine with just camber arms and springs?

Re: **Alignment Prob**
Kinetix has adjustable camber kits. Because of the camber adjustement issue is why I chose to go with TEIN H-TECHs instead of the S-TECHs. It would set you back about 400 dollars.

I stand corrected, for both front and rear is $750. Not worth the extra 1/2 inch drop IMHO.

Re: **Alignment Prob**
i went with the kinetix front a-arms, rear kinetix camber arms, and rear spc toe bolts. total was around $600 .
protocav has some good advice by just purchasing 2 sets of rear bolts from spc for $90 shipped. these allow more adjustability than the factory bolts and might be a cheaper alternative for the rear. and if it doesnt work, its just $45 for the camber bolts, which you can sell to another member to replace his/her toe bolt (rear camber / toe bolts are interchangeable).

Re: **Alignment Prob**
Mines lowered in springs at about 2 inches on the sedan for about a month. Im finally gonna get an alignment, what should I ask them? I want the offset and the tires being out because of the camber look, meaning slanted out of the wheel well for better traction. The tire wear isntt that big of a deal for me, what should I ask them to do. Fix the toe in the frotn and rear?

Re: **Alignment Prob**
When you replace oem ruber bushings with urethane you lose the built in toe in under deceleration braking and the toe out to neutral at cruise from bushing deflection.
Important to evaluate and decide on your new toe settings which will not be equal to oem settings.
Rear toe in under deceleration is important for braking and stability.

Re: **Alignment Prob**
very good point. i wish i could throw in my pennies but this is far out of my realm of exptertise. computer geekdom is my role in life. hopefully the experts can enlighten us.
what i can share is that my alignment specs are 1.0 front camber / 1.4 rear camber / ~0 toe front and rear iirc. tire wear is definitely better with a reduction in road noise.

Re: **Alignment Prob**
Ok it seems to be that i'm a little confused. Now, my offset on my new rims is +40 and with it lowered it comes out of the fender on an angle, that's the camber rite or is it the offset? I want my wheels to be out for better traction and handling, it also gives the car an aggressive stance. Will getting an alignment alter this in any way? Thanks again and sorry for sounding ignorant lol. Im great with engines, and exhaust, suspension isnt one of my majors. Martin
