Thanks for the answers guys, but I'm looking a for a deeper sound not really louder.
Louder is actually good as long as it's deeper as well. If that makes sense.
As long as my ride doesn't sound ricey.
Don't want the gas smell from the test pipes.

Would the XO2 exhaust really give me the deeper sound I'm looking for?
How is it on drone noise? Cause that would get old quick.

once again, amuse exahuse is what wont be as loud and annoying as an HKS and will be one of the nicest sounds you have heard, deep but not as loud..

try searching up exhausts on youtube

the XO2 and test pipes is definitely loud and deep. It does drone bad on the highway at WOT and it does get irritating after awhile. I'm going to be removing the test pipes and going back to cats soon to alleviate some of the noise. Plus it will only get louder with my vortech installed

So it looks like HFCs will be my best bet.
I've read that Stillens aren't that reliable, is this still the case?
I think they changed their 3rd party manufacturers for the HFCs.

sounds pretty interesting... almost like a v8... but why? you lose power and engine misfires, and lopy idle. it happened to me by accident when changing the spark plugs. one of the wire clips to the number 5 cylinder coil was not tigtened/fitted properly and so the engine was not idling smooth nor was as strong prior to changing the plugs. But damn it sure sounded like a slapping V8... exhaust was so much louder too... engine was laggy and not as responsive, drove like this for 7 miles from my cousins garage to my apartment complex. reconnected the clip and all was smooth and dandy and back to normal.
