Give me your opinion. 400 HP?

In your opinion,

what is the most cost efficient way to reach the four-hundred mark on your 03-04 G 6MT, short of an engine swap. LOL.

give us the estimated gain in horses per modification.

thanks,

- Niko

the only way your going to reach that kinda power in (WHP) is going to be FI
There are many kits available and range from cintrifigul SC and twin turbo kits.
Vortech makes a kit that is probably the safest for daily drivability. it is a SC kit and with a moderate tune you can reach that goal and still have a dependable DD. Other have done the TT route which can have the ability to make even more power. Turbonetics also make a single turbo kit for the G. hope that helps,

FYI-although a pain in the rear the search function should bring in a lot of info on this.

lol. i used the search actually, no BS.

i didn't really find many engine performance mods other than the plenum spacers, turbo kits, superchargers, and intakes & exhausts.

and the turbo kits are hella $$. i honestly didn't search for turbo kits to well, because i mostly came up with 4K-6K products.

is there really anything else that can be modded with the engine? something a little more reasonable in pricing for a 6MT.

sure. everyone is raving about The Mrev2 and plenum 5/16 spacer from motordyne. You can also get a Z-tube and JWT pop charger combo. all available on ebay. a true duel cat back is also an option. if you put all those things on together, im sure youll be happy. it will give you about 25 WHP. however if you want 400 you need serious modding. BTW you can also tune it after all those bolt ons for an additional 10-20 WHP

400 MARK MEANING REGULAR HORSIES RIGHT? NOT WHP? Cause you can get 400hp. will all mods, that they all talk about. Also you may want some new HFC and some headers. NISMO R-tune headers bro. They look sick.

Bottom line is nobody has achieved that amount of HP without either an engine swap or some type of FI. Parts are expensive but you don't have a Civic or Integra (some of those parts can be expensive as well)

lmao. alright guys, i get the point.

what do you think a reasonable price for the FI would be? what if it was used?

most likely the turbonetics kit.

The 300SRT8 is one of those rare cars that are actually heavier than ours too by about 300lbs, so 400hp in a G will probably be more fun.
