Re: CAI+Plenum+Cats+200.5=MIL
Crawford and Autozone pulled up code 0057, which is the drivers side heated O2 Sensor. Now I know why the guy that installed it kept saying, "I don't know what's wrong, unless maybe you ran over something and hit the sensor".
My hypothesis:
He dropped the sensor, then gave me some other code that would implicate the side I did. BTW, Bank 1 is the passenger side.
Ordering new O2 sensor for $105 and we'll see. Doug fixed my rattle, NO CHARGE!!!
This is a great reason to do business with Crawford. Doug is easy to get ahold of and wants your car to work right, and he will take the time to help you. I drove 3 hours to Nashvegas and he hooked me up, no charge.
Thanks Crawford Z !!!

Looks like my "gutt feeling" was right. Glad to see Doug helped you out. I've said all along he's a great guy to do business with and this just helps to prove it that much more. Too bad there aren't more aftermarket people like him.
Hey, what's the deal with "G-Freak" next to my name? Is that a good thing?
<font color=blue>The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!</font color=blue>

(In my best "Nelson" voice, pointing at Neffster)
HA HA!
You're a G-freak. I guess it's better than being a "G-unit".
Doug's got a nice shop over there. A dozen bays, clean, with some very knowledgeable and polite help. He personally attended to my car and thought out loud with me while he figured out the problem, then gave me homework for what to do next when so and so might happen.
I saw him dealing with another customer asking for advice on a 97 Nissan of some sort and Doug knew every detail about every model year Nissan vehicle that was mentioned in the conversation. The guy definitely knows these cars.

Re: CAI+Plenum+Cats+200.5=MIL
I just installed my Crawford cats. I was very careful with the O2 sensors (thanks fish for the heads up). I didn't want to be $105 in the hole if I were to cheese one of them. However, I can see why some people bust them up. Those things are on tight in the original cats and it takes some muscle to loosen them up. After installing the cats I crossed my fingers and started the car and let it idle for a while. No CEL!!! Yupee!!!!
I drove it around town a bit and did some test runs. Everything looks OK. I can tell you that the workmanship on those things is pretty impressive and they fit perfectly. Some people are experiencing problems with the kinetix cats (alignment problems). As far as changes, I noticed that my car now is smoother at idle and also accelarates smoother through the RPM band, however I don't really feel extra power. Without them my accelaration was spotty, meaning I had ranges (spots) where there would be jolts of power.

Re: CAI+Plenum+Cats+200.5=MIL
Wait till you put your plenum on. When I did my plenum I noticed a slight increase in power. Then when the cats when on she really opened up.
Neffster did the same thing but in the opposite order. I remember him commenting that when the plenum went on it was a world of difference.
I think the combo of the two really complement one another well. One alone doesn't seem to do nearly as much. The addition of one with the other seems multiplicative rather than additive.
