eBay Radiator support question

hi everyone. i need a new radiator support and i was wondering if anyone has an experience with one bought from eBay. i dont think its OEM, but if its the same quality and fitment i'll get one.

here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RADIA...ht_4222wt_1221

what do you guys think? should i spring more money for an OEM one, or will this do, as far as safety and fitment?

Whats the price difference between OEM and generic? I would probably go with the generic one as well though, especially if the price difference is high

new is about 300+ shipped and a aftermarket one is 220 shipped. so lets say about $100 difference.

It me be hard to get it all to line up with the aftermarket imo. But for $100+ it fine to spend a nother hour or two.

well its not a metal radiator support, its made out of fiberglass. So I dont think it would make any difference imo. If your frame rails are in good shape then I would not worry.

You can allways call a insurance company and see if they pay to put them in? If hey say no, then you no its a "structiol" piece. But on are cars its only there to hold the fans, radiator,ac condencer, ect if im correct.

only buy from sellers that have a ridiculous amount of positive feedback.. (i.e. over 10,000+)

why do you need a radiator core support?... was the car in a front end collision? If so - insurance will cover - make it all OEM... and let the shop do the leg-work.

bumping an old thread. my car's out of the shop now, but the problem is that the headlights have a gap near the front bumper and the fenders. could this be an issue with the aftermarket radiator support or could it be that the fender is misaligned?

Could be any one of them, fenders, head lights, bumper or the radiator support. Who did the work? and find out how they measured your car? If the car was not in specs they they should not have put it together.
