German Castrol Syntec vs Castrol Edge

Now ive been seeing this alot on tv and at autoparts places and i know theres a good chance of it just beign rebadged but does any one have any input.

I know for most people that change there oil every 3000-5000 miles and use full sythetic, it really doesnt mean much but for a claim of 8x better than Mobil one it better one hell of an oil.

Walmart carries it, but it's like $35 bucks for a 5qt jug. Other syntetics are in the low to mid $20's. I already go 7500miles per oil change and don't feel comfortable going much longer no matter how good the oil is. So this stuff is pointless for me.

You should have sent your current drained sample then sent a sample of the edge at the next drain.

I was planning it but todays oil change was unexpected, I took it into infiniti and they found a leak so they replaced the oil pan seals, I wasn't planing on doing it today I just went in to get a new cup holder

I'm not going to go the full 15k miles though, I think I'll go to 7k miles, I usually do it ever 3k miles
