Brand New G35 Longblock... Question...

Local seller claims to have a brand new VQ35 Longblock.

My question: How do I know if this is a RevUp or Non RevUp?

If this engine is brand new, it should not have the VIN etched into the block, correct? Where exactly would I check the block for this?

Other than the engine being spotless clean, what should I look for?

Thanks

if it is non-revup there will be a circle shape poking out from the head on the intake sides

if it is a revup there will be 2 circles on each head, one on the exhaust side and one on the intake side. ..

On the front timing cover there will be dimples on it if it is a rev-up. If it is a non-rev up they won't be there. Also, the VIN # is not on the engine anywhere.
