+ 1,000,000

My DD is a 2K Max SE with several hundred thousand miles, even he drinks nothing but premium.

I only use 93 Octane.. I figure you take care of your ride, and she will take care of you.

you get what you pay for.

I commute 70 miles round trip every day. I have a 99 honda civic that runs on 87 octane, but the drive is sooooo miserable. I'm willing to pay a little more...okay, a lot more and drive my G35. I live in SoCal, so 91 octane is the best that's available, and all that I'll put in my G. The only thing I will compromise on is where I get my gas. Most of the time I will fill up at Chevron, but sometimes I'll hit an Arco which is a lot cheaper.

I've always used premium, it's only a few dollars more.

I had to run regular in my car for three weeks down here in charlotte when we had our gas shortage. It was rediculous down here. Police were at all the stations when gas shipments came in people were fighting, it was crazy.

Anyway, I didn't notice a huge difference performance wise, the car still ran great. But it didn't seem quite as responsive. It was definitely nice when things got back to normal and my baby could drink the high quality juice.

When I first bought the car i was considering doing half fill ups with 93 and 89, averaging the recommended 91, but then I realized that it only cost me 3 to 4 extra per full fill up. Premium is really pretty cheap when you look at it. So worth the money. Everyone freaks out about the price of gas, but the beauty that the public is too stupid to realize is that premium is always 20-25 cents more per gallon, regardless of the price of gas. It stays like that because it's not in demand like regular. It's one of the rare instances where I'm excited that the general public is stupid.

Now there's an worth considering and why I take really good care of everything I drive. If we could get 93 octane gas here in Ca. you couldn't tell the difference. I recall the days of Chevron Supreme 98 octane, that's all I ever used. It probably didn't give me any more HP but it made me feel good just to use it....

My sister accidentally put 87 octane and I did not notice anything.. After few weeks, my sister told me that she had put 87 and I was like...lol.
But I put 91 premium always
