Thumbs down Computer thinks oil is spent?

I popped up my nav today and it told me that my oil and filter need to be changed. I bought the car about 3 weeks ago from an Infiniti dealership and it has been great since. The oil was changed before I got it and the sticker in the window says I am good for another 5000kms.

I checked the oil and it hasn't even started to get dirty!!

Why the hell is the computer thinking it's time for an oil change? Do you need to reset it when it is changed? maybe the nissan guys didn't do it....

Any help would be cool, the cars is fine I just don't like warnings.

the computer does not analyze the oil. Its just based on miles since the last reset.
