Weird. We've seen these engines go 200k+ easily.

The 3.5 is very different fom the older than 2002 more robust engines. 1994-1995 was the peak of mechanical durability.

Making vehicles last too long is the reason US and other brands are in trouble.

All vehicles should be junked /exported at 7-9 years to help economy and emissions.
EU is now offering a tax rebate to help junk 9 year old cars.
Japan charges a $3,000 fee to examine and restore 60,000 mile cars to encourage trading and exports.
