meed clutch assitance please
So when i got my 06' clutch 2 months ago i had to replace the clutch within a week. So i purchased a JWT clutch and flywheel combo from a dealer here on this site. The installer installed the first one, then said it didn't fit so called the dealer and got a new one sent, deal said its same one. i guess the installer just couldn't get it right. Then it was released to me saying it was all good to go.
well bout 2500 miles later the clutch burned out. i don't think this is common. i doubt that this went because my driving. i do get on it sometimes but never expected this. there reason to believe it is not my fault? there any suggestion on where i should go from here?
thanks in advance

Well, under normal conditions there is really no reason for a clutch wear out in 2500 miles of use. That being said, seeing the parts will play a big role in assessing the cause. So, when you have the clutch pulled email me (or post) some pics of the parts so we can get a clear view of what has happened. Though I could provide a lot of hypothetical causes these won't ultimately tell you the true cause of your issue. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,
OMG more clutch issues, possible help?
so i bought the car in feb. clutch went out in a week. got new jwt clutch and flywheel combo, clutch went out in 2500 miles. got an Exedy clutch and ACT flywheel the other day. When i first drove the car the clutch was very easy to press and grabbed really low. 5 days later the clutch is grabbing higher and harder to press. is there something in the transmission or something that could be making these clutches go bad. is there something the shop is missing or trying to avoid fixing while under warranty. i can smell the clutch everyonce in a while which i thought i might since it is brand new. any help will be great. if needed i will post pics of the jwt that just came out and the stocker that came out a while back.
When the mechanic installed the clutch and flywheel did you have him adjusts the pedal at

Well, if the pedal was misadjusted it could cause the throw-out bearing to ride the diaphragm fingers causing the clutch to sit partially released which in turn would allow for clutch slip and thus excessive wear. The JWT disc looks to be in pretty bad shape. In fact, if you look at the pics you can see the rivet holes where the material was originally fastened to the carrier. Did the disc completely separate (is it in two pieces)? You only show one side of the JWT disc...but if there are no rivets securing the organic disc material then it has to have come apart. Perhaps I am seeing this wrong. Can you confirm or at least provide pics of the other side of the disc?
Misadjusted pedal leading to a clutch that is sitting partially released during use. Effectively, having the rod that connects the pedal to the master cylinder set improperly can cause the throw-out bearing to ride the diaphragm fingers which reduces the plates clamp load. It is also possible that you are having a hydraulic issue and I suggest checking the fluid in the reservoir (the smaller one next to the brake fluid reservoir). Check it out and let me know what you find. Thanks,
