I pulled my VDC fuse to test the performance of the car with and without ABS/VDC/brakeLSD.

While the fuse was out, all three lights on the dash: ABS, SLIP, VDC Off remained on and solid while the car was running.

I've now replaced the fuse (im going on a road trip...thinking better safe than sorry) and those lights are all still on.

I spoke to my dealer...they said the ever predictable "bring it in"...

Is there something I need to do to re-enable those systems? Perhaps it it just the sensors that need to be reset? Also, im curious, are those systems on or really off? Any help / advice here that will save me a trip to the dealer would be GREATLY appreciated.

Did you try drivng the car around a bit? After I dyno my car it does the same thing and the ABS warning comes up on the Navi screen. It stays on till I drive 1/4 mile or so then all is normal.

You could try doing an ECU reset first by the easy pedal method, then by the battery disconnect method if need be.

As to the lights being on- I would say that indicates a problem in the systems and that they no longer function.

Make sure the fuse is back in the correct receptacle, and that it's a good fuse, then try the ECU resets.

same as KP....

after my last dyno (i have the KP vdc remember module too) i have the VDC OFF light (always lit up nowadaays) and the other two come on as well...

before i could leave the parking lot (a few 90° left and right turns too) the other lights (slip and brake i think) finally turned off)

i left with the VDC light only, by desing of the KPT module....

What exactly did you mean by that whole post? I am confused? What is a KP VDC or KPT Module?

It sounds like esemes has one of the VDC memory modules from kptechnologies.net. The module remembers if you set the VDC off or on. So if you turn the VDC off, it remains off after you turn the car off and then start it up again.

oh ok, thanks Dave...that sounds like it too...that is no big deal to turn off the VDC and remember to turn it back off if I want it off...which is really never accept at the track.
