Plenum CEL Saga Update

Ok, so Doug and I figured out that the original error code that the shop told me was probably a mistake or outright deception. The actual code after the driver side cat was 57, which is bad O2 sensor bank 2 (drivers side). I ordered one for $114 shipped from everythingG and just put it on this morning.

Service Engine Soon light is GONE!!!

Neffster,
You have a great "gut o meter" because your gut was right. If you're interested I have a 6 wire grounding kit I'll send you for shipping costs only as a prize.

Lesson learned,
Be careful with that O2 sensor! I'd treat it like a household light bulb and if you let anyone other than Infiniti mess with your ride, insist that they take responsibility for broken sensors before you let them work on it.

The shop I went to they guy kept saying, "Duh, I don't know what could be wrong, unless you may have run over something" He knew all along that he screwed my sensor and my business with that shop is finissimo.

-fish,

The "gut-o-meter" is obviously more in tune with the G35 than my "butt dyno". All of these people claiming to be able to feel 5 rwhp really make me think that I have a desensitized keester.

Neff lol... Cata that sucks, i'll be putting my test pipe's in soon and I will tell them to watch out. Im getting all the work done at a performance nissan shop branched off the nissan dealer so trust what they're doing. But anyway could you take sound clips of it? And how do you like the crawford cats? Martin

Re: Plenum CEL Saga Update

Neffster,
My butt dyno can easily feel a 1hp increase on my '61 Vespa scooter. Not a whole lotta power in that unit. In fact I'd love to have another 1hp under the cowling.

Cat--excellent about getting it fixed, but it's too bad about the bonehead wrenchers who messed it up.

You won't notice any difference with a sound clip revving it, only when loaded. I'm not sure how to attach my camcorder to the car while I'm driving.

I love the Crawford cats. High quality, light, measureable performance increase, noticeably deeper, slightyly louder tone.
