master slave cylinder question

i have an 03 coupe 6mt and i need a new master slave cylinder and the guy at the shop said itd be foolish not to change the clutch as well....my clutch is fine though...and if i do need to change it should i do the throwout bearing as well??? any info on this subject would be great..

if the clutch isnt worn, theres no reason to change it. you dont have to do anything with the clutch to do a cylinder swap. Sounds like a shady *** mechanic. I'd go elsewhere in a hurry.

And yes, you need a new throwout bearing and pilot bushing when doin a new clutch.
