Unofficial update on pod pillar

I got an e-mail from Dave today and he reported that the color was way off and the top pod was not right. He is returning them to the manufacturer but doesn't know how quickly they will fix it. Will we go at the end of the line for a mold or will they bump it up since the 1st one was not made right. I hope its the latter. Dave will be posting soon

How is that terrible service? I would say it'd be terrible service if he just sent them off to potential buyers. Instead he's sending them back because quality wasn't up to par on what we should be getting.

3 weeks has turned into 3 months, that to me is not great service,

i know it's not him making it, but he should have better connections before promissing such parts

Re: Unofficial update on pod pillar

I don't know everyones situation but I know I am PISSED. I just got my Vortech supercharger in the mail today. The timing was almost perfect. Now I have all my mods ready to get installed (s.c., header, cats, exhaust, grounding kit, and gauges) EXCEPT FOR THE MFN GAUGE POD. This is B*LL SH*T.
I am having flashbacks of when I waited 6mo. for a Gialla grill from Intense Motorsports They Blow. I bought it elsewhere cheaper and got it in 2 days.
Whoever is making this part for Dave has got us by the short hairs. I just hope they do the right thing and address their quality issue immediately and not put us at the end of the line again for a new mold I guess all I can do is wait.
I have faith in Dave he'll come through for us. I just hope that it is SOON-
Here is a site that I found with current info.

Re: Unofficial update on pod pillar

i totally give up on this and them...

it shouldnt take that long IF they actually cared about customer service, and judging by their 30+ piece failed shipment, it aint gonna happen...

keep an eye on autometer.... they are a big professional company, who should be able to make good on this simplistic fusion of plastic components...
