IPDM Getting Wet - Common Issue?
Is it a common issue for the IPDM to get wet?
I am having an issue with my car, listed here:
https://g35driver.com/forums/engine-...uctioning.html
And after doing more research on different G forums, I have found what seems to be somewhat common; the IPDM getting wet some how.
The common variable with my issue is that it only happens after driving the car in the rain, and then the electrical system goes haywire (see link above).
I haven't had a chance to look at the IPDM, because it's at the dealership.
Has anyone else had this problem?

My slip and VDC lights would come on all the time causing the car to only range. So I took it to the dealership and they told me that I had water in my ipdm box which caused the problem with my throttle body. I have no idea how it could have gotten wet besides me driving in the rain, and they couldn't explain it wither. Why isn't it surrounded by a waterproof casing?
