Problems starting the car?
Guys, need some input here.
Since last week been having issues with my car.
SPORADICALLY, it does not start - remote starter or key, doesn't matter.
I turn the key, it cranks, but does not start.
If i press gas pedal while cranking, it is starting right up?
Are the injectors getting flooded?
I have done nothing to the engine aside from grounding and intake..
any ideas?

Mine is having a similar issue... No remote starter though... One time we unhooked the battery and reconnected it and it fired, the next time we jumped it... but the battery is fine (had it checked) and it's less then 6 months old.
The car will crank all day long, as I tried about 10 times one night... finally it just decided to. Pushing the gas for me does nothing. I'm wondering if the UTEC in mine is screwing up... but nothing on the car had changed in a year.

I thought I would bump this thread since it seems closest to the problem I experienced this weekend...it was a little scarey.
Went to start my car sunday afternoon to move it from one parking spot to another. It did not want to start. It just kept cranking and sputtering and even some black smoke was coming from the exhaust. For some brief attempts it sounded like it wanted to turn over completely, but it would just fall flat on its face. Then it would only crank and provide no hope of starting.
I felt confident there was nothing wrong with my car since I drove it without issue all week and I even started it normally saturday (again to move from one spot to another hint hint). There was also no evidence of fluid, loose connections or damage anywhere that I could see So I cranked it while pumping the gas and I finally got it to start, but it was having trouble idling and sounded really rough and was still smokey. So I tapped the gas pedal more and it seemed to improve at higher revs. That made me feel confident it was a flodding issue. So I woke everyone up who might have still been sleeping and gave a ricer rev dance a few times and it leveled off at idle like normal after letting out some serious smoke (more than you ever want to see from a newish car).
I can only guess that when I relocated the car the previous day and promptly shut it off before letting it warm up, it must have left some excess fuel in the chambers. After coming to these conclusions, I then proceeded to take it out to stretch her legs a bit. Everyone probably thought I was driving like an ***, but it had to be done.
Mind you, I have had zero issues with my car up to this point and no similar issue like this or this bad in the past. The brieft start up and shut down is the only thing I can think of that would cause this.
Anyone think it would be worth doing one of those intake/fuel cleaner treatments that dealers offer? I usually think of them as BS, but maybe the ol'gal could use an internal washing?
