I have a 03 G Coupe and the spark plugs are starting to be filled with oil. The shop said I need to change the spark plug gaskets. They also said that that the spark plug gaskets don't detach from the valve cover. Now I need to buy a whole new valve cover?
Is this true?

yup you need new valve covers. it's covered by factory warranty to 75,000 miles, however time may have expired for you. Unfortunately replacing the valve covers is the only option and an expensive one at that. I think they are around 300-400 each just for the parts.

yes powertrain. I know for sure it's 75k but not too sure about the time I'm thinking 6 years? check your owners manual.

I have read that replacable gaskets are available. Might try Grubbs or Riverside.
