Need help with Cylinder Head compatibilty!

Hi guys I need to change the cylinder heads due to excessive wear of the valve lifters, so I thought it was a nice oportunity to port and polish the new ones, my mechanic is going to do it, but i wanted to know what year models the cylinder heads are compatible with , my car is a 2003 G35 coupe: I got an awesome deal with some cyl heads from a 2007 MURANO, and I wanted to know if they fit, because they are from a 2007 model and almost brand new. PLease let me know your feedback on this. Thanks

You probably need to find out what engine it is. If its the VQ35DE then you should be ok. The REV-UP should also have the same heads.

2007 the HR engine came out and I dunno about the internals on that. Check out that.

Hi I just checked some specs online and the murano has the VQ35DE and it does have the same bore and stroke and same compression ratio.
thr 2007 model was the last one that had the same engine (VQ35DE)

You're going to have to find out if both are or aren't Rev UP versions of the VQ35. I "think" rev up motors have varible cam timing on both the intake and exhaust. Non revups only have it on one or the other. That might make a diff in compatibility (even though both are VQ35s)
