Re: AFTERMARKET PRODUCT LIST

I'd be happy to help but I'm such a newb to the G35 I wouldn't know where to begin. =(
Maybe in a couple months if no one else is willing to do it.

Re: AFTERMARKET PRODUCT LIST

Problem is that list is peppered with companies that in fact do not offer anything for the platform and they can't see that. I brought up a list of error's to Mike and I still see them on the list. And I went into detail about the error's, guess it takes to much effort to click on the edit button. A list like that should be 100% accurate. I applaud the idea, but would be saddened if our list is equally flawed.

Re: AFTERMARKET PRODUCT LIST

Hey 'zilla:

I had started a thread somewhat like that a while ago...
Sedan: Sources & Links

I'd be happy to assist... perhaps a promotion to Mod? It takes a bit of effort to keep a thread like that on the right path.

Cheers, ted

Re: AFTERMARKET PRODUCT LIST

If someone is willing to throw some money my way, like if I give you all my PayPal Account E-mail Address and donate towards the cause and not some low-ball amount with like 5 members out of however many we have on the site, i'll do it.

I have already started a list just for my personal preferences, and am still adding to that list. But I'll be glad to go further in depth with proper website links and categorize it and anything else really you guys want.

I just think that's too much work for no compensation out of it. So if you all are willing to compensate, I'll proceed on and make it a thread and hopefully the administrators will have it as a Sticky Thread.

I can make 2 categories for the Coupe and the Sedan.

No offense, but you've got 53 posts and you are already complaining about the work! That's what the mods deal with EVERYDAY with no compensation. In fact, Kyle's been running this site for a couple of years now without any compensation until just recently (and I don't think he got too much)

Kyle.. my offer still stands... besides, I am already doing some of this working with vendors for Team Transport.

Cheers, Ted

Re: AFTERMARKET PRODUCT LIST

Who cares if I have 53 posts. I do have a life you know. I'm not some post ***** who sits around doing nothing reading and replying to every comment/thread/post.

I do try to check out the Forum often, but not to where I want to post some ignoramus comment about every last thing shown here on the board.

I'm not complaining, that is just an opinion of how I felt. I do work, I do have a life and if I was willing to sit aside and take my time to do this, then yeah, compensation is not much to ask for.

Yippee for the Mods that deal with it everyday, that's their choice, not mine. If they don't mind not getting compensated, then so be it. Get them to make up the list and make sure it's accurate.

That was Kyle's decision, not mine, yours, or anyone else's but his. The site is good, could be better on some of the formats, but is still good to visit.

Nothing's free in life, so take it as it is. If people want me to do it, i'll do it, if not, then I don't really care. Just means I have more time for other things.

I was just simply saying I would help out the community, but with your reply to my post, it's people like you where I just read the info, do my own research, and live my life without having to deal with schmo's like yourself. There for the reason of the lack of posts over my duration at this site.

If you don't like what I have to say or offer, then just keep it to yourself, I don't have time for immaturity.

I think we all have a life.....that's how we afford a $35k+ car.
As far as nothing being free, how much have you paid for the information and advice received from this site?

As far as the mods not being paid, have a little respect for those willing to give their time even if you are not. I personally have little time to offer, but would be more than happy to help in other ways.

BTW, which is more immature: whining about the site and insulting a contributing member, or offering up assistance GRATIS...

Re: AFTERMARKET PRODUCT LIST

Just because you have a life, doesn't mean you can afford a $35K + car. It means you have a job.

No one has paid anything because they had to go read through all of the posts about whatever and listen about something to say of each Individual product and etc.

The difference of what I said/offered is a complete thread, broken down and categorized w/ links of the products so when they want to know who has what to offer for the car and prices and everything, just click on the thread and it's so much easier and time consuming for the old members and the new ones.

I do have respect for them, but that's there decision of playing that role for whatever reasons. I am also more than happy to help others, I sell Import Parts, I am in the working world so helping others isn't a problem. But when it comes down to doing all that with the details that goes in it, aside from my regular life, I don't feel of what I said is so wrong.

It's all good if I don't do it, no sweat off of my back.

I'm not whining about the site, and have no problem assisting people. You guys with the problems need to get off of your high horse and either go do it yourself or get off of my back just because of my post.

If you don't like it, oh well. Too many people have chips on their shoulders over nothing.

So again, you either like what I said in doing this for the community or you don't. Just KEEP IT TO YOURSELF if you don't like it.

Enough B.S., i'm not going to reply to anymore negative comments, only comments that are worth my time.

Re: AFTERMARKET PRODUCT LIST

Someone who is fluent in Japanese needs to find the Japanese version of G35driver and find out all the goodies that are offered there.

care to share what "import parts" you sell? Since you are so gung-ho about helping people, maybe you can help some members here.....

godzilla,

I think this is a great idea. I would be willing to help (gratis) with the sedan portion of the list. Let me know what I can do.
