These are 4 months apart. The first bone stock, the second with all the mods below. I did make a mistake though, it was 36whp and not 38whp like I said.

Depends on your goals. If you compare it to going FI then i guess no. If you plan on stay N/A, why not?

I planned on doing Motordyne catback exhaust, motordyne resonated test pipes, tomei headers, motordyne spacer, z-tube, K&N Filter, 06 Airbox, SExcx Grounding Kit, Stillen Engine Damper, Osiris Tune.

This is close to 5K with installation and probably make an estimated 260-270 at the wheels. Pro is you wont have to deal with the cons of FI (blown motor etc.) and will last a lot longer, maybe even a full lifetime.

Now i planned on going FI. Used Single Turbo kit, 600cc injectors, turbo xs utec, fuel pump, BOV, transmission cooler, Tuned Safely to 380whp. 6K with installation i would estimate. Pro you will get way more than you ever will with just Bolt-ons, alot more fun imo. Con is well your car will never last you as long. Easy foot, safe tune, and a lot of luck is your only hope to make it worthwhile. Must get valve body upgrade too, which will make it 7k then.

This is enough power for me so im not worrying about going faster.
This is concerning me so take what will help you.

In conclusion vq's are not cheap if you want a lot of power out of them.

First you didn't believe me, now you think I have a lot of mods for the gains? Does it make a difference what I tell you?

I said I spent less than $1K for 36whp, which is the truth...I made no other claim.

Do it!!! I started with plenum, exhaust and headers - that was great. Now, with the twins, it's just awesome. Whatever you do, you will enjoy the exercise and learn more about your G.

Why? I picked up 41whp and 38wtq with ~1500-1800 in performance mods. I'd honestly say bolt-ons and tune is relatively guaranteed to get you at least 25-30whp. I have some other expensive driveline parts, but in terms of performance that's about it.

My uncorrected dynodynamics......Bottom line: stock 03 6sp 350z (208whp) (not my car, was on file). Middle line my car with pop/spacer/ur pulley/test-pipes/turboxs y-pipe & exhaust/and tuned Osiris (246whp). Top line: most recent tune......w/z1 maf/samco intake tube/and new tune (262whp)(this was also with a cracked test-pipe and dead 90k stock clutch).

Ignore after 6300....on that pull he let off there for some reason. Later that day (of the 262 pull) I dyno'd on the same dynojet I did for my baseline (241whp) and put down 282.5. My car was a bit stronger than the car on file, but either way 54whp and 41whp over stock is pretty good for some bolt-ons.

Cheers,

Is that questioned posed to me? Osiris w/tune is 700-800. I have seen people do it for as low as 400 (license fee) and 150 for the tune, but that is not typical.
