HELP! Car keeps dying

Here's the story a couple of months ago on my cylinders was misfiring so I took it to the shop and they told me two ignition coils went out so I had it replaced. About 3 months After that the same thing happened Another misfire i replaced another two coils...now last week when I was driving on the street I felt a sudden power loss so bad tht when I stopped the car was rattling hard and smelt funny I was sure that it was another misfire from another ignition coil so I took it to the dealer and they told me two coils went out...I told them this is the third time and they said they would look into it...Heres the questions I have for u guys...I one ignition coil goes out does it affect the others too that would make those die eventually? If so is it better to replace all 6 ignition coils? Could there be something that's making them burn out real fast? I need ur guys's advice....thanks in advance -tj

The fact that the same ignition coils keep going out is most likely a short in a wire somewhere. Its a problem with the wires most likely...I've seen this happen where 3 went out at the same time for people, but this is a very uncommon issue with the vehicle. Those ignition coils are not cheap either...
