Damn! I have the G35 radiator coming today or tomorrow, I was hoping for a direct drop in. Anyone know how much work it is? sxexx is who I search for?

thanks for all and any info.

+1 a 350z radiator will have to be modified to fit. You will also need a longer reservoir hose. Search for threads I've made and look at my koyo thread.

i just dropped in a 36mm Koyo and it fit pretty easily. i read your threads while studying up on the install so maybe i had built it up to be more difficult than it really is. the bottom mounts work fine, but the top mounting studs don't line up with the openings on the G's core support. its cool though since it still bolts up directly to the AC condenser, the upper radiator hose keeps it from falling back towards the engine, and once everything is installed its a fairly snug/secure fit.

Yeah the big koyo is harder to install than the small koyo. With the big one you will have to do some modification to the core support by cutting it away as well as the stock fans if you are keeping them.

That is exactly how mine is. I am going to eventually fill the stock G holes next time I tear the car apart, and make a mount to fit the rad.

Actually coolant volume can be more important than radiator.
Adding 1 quart to 10 increases TIME to rise 10%, difficult to get an aftermarket rad fins/housing with a 10% better cooling efficiency.

All about BTU/Hrs. minutes, seconds.

Research MB, BMW, etc about coolant volume and you will see what you need to accomplish. Same with ATF and power steering fluids. They may use an extra 4 quarts [8 pounds] to maintain and avoid overheats in the first place.

^^^ so some type of additional reservoir to flow through? why wouldn’t a bigger rad do the trick?

Just did a quick for BMW additional cooling – the majority of returns mention secondary water pump (electric)… I’m not gonna do that.

I've been emailing Mishimoto back and forth. Even though the description on their website states that it is a direct OEM replacement, they have informed me that the mounting points do require modification. They are releasing a revised version, supposedly a 100% drop in, in roughly six weeks.

got my g35 mishimoto in today. This thing is huge compared to the 350z radiator... Massive to the OEM. I dropped it in after taking the pictures and my battery was dead on my camera. It fits OK. Same exact problems as GreenGoblin and BigC.

I see it listed under the Auto menu - but no pics or specs... has anyone used theirs? The note at bottom of list indicates they dont have ATF coolers built in unless noted in the description - but there is no description on the G35 one...

It's not a direct drop in. It requires modifications, unless they've changed it recently but I doubt it.
