Have I posted this in the right section?

Hello

First time post here. I have an 04 g35 sedan...6 speed manual, 85k miles. I have recently come across my first issue with it. When I accellerate in any particular gear and then let off, I get this awful crackling sound. Performance wise, the car seems fine. It does not make the noise if I just press the gas pedal with the car stopped and out of gear. I have had two mechanics look at it, and neither could really tell what it is. One thought it was an exhaust issue, but was not certain. Anyone had this happen to their G, or know if this is a common issue. Thanks to anyone that can throw their opinion or knowledge my way.

Do you get something similiar to that?

Does your sound continue when you aren't holding the gas pedal as well? If it does, probably a different issue from what's in the above post and not something I can relate to.

Hope this helps.
