Oil Consumption cause?
thats the next step. I had a compression test done and all of the cylinders had normal compression. Mechanic said its most likely the piston rings but can exactly confirm because the motor hasnt been taken apart. I dont know how else to prove the intake/exhaust caused the problem. I mean i would have thought it was common sense that these mods can not cause such catastrophic OC.
Car is very sluggish. Doesnt pull like it used to. Doesnt blow out any black, white or blue smoke.
Car is at the dealer today.. Getting an oil change and going in for OC test.. 03 automatic non revup with extended warranty.
I know for a fact I'm consuming oil heavily as my oil light comes on here and there.. I'm just scared that they might do something to rip me off a new motor or something and I'll be stuck with that POS..
My mechanic did his own tear down and diagnostics and from his own words told me that I need a new motor asap. I'm kind of tired of having to stop by a store and waste 5 bucks everytime to add oil into my motor.

u cant let it get so low that the light comes on...it has to be really low for that to happen
why is the tsb for revups, seems like plenty of 03-04s and autos are having problems too, i hope this isnt like the QR25DE issue where it sucks in the cat and scores the cylinder walls
