Home made ground kit installed!

I did this ground kit on my buddies 03 g35 today! Are deal was to make a CLEAN ground kit that can't be seen that much! I hate when you pop the hood and you see bright color wires all over the motor! We used a dark brown 8g wire and soldered on the ends and used head shrink. The ground kit come out great! We have noticed the the transmission up shifts and down shift much faster! Soon as you hit to up shift its there. Also don't know how to explain it but seems to run smoother and drive better. The throttle response is better too! Here are some pics of how i did the kit and the install!

Heres how i made my wires!

Now to the install!

I drilled holes in the rubber to run the wires into the battery by!

Pulling the first ground wire into the battery bay!

First ground point was by the hood switch i think!

Now after it was zip tied up!

Replaced the factory ground wire in the battery bay!

Second ground wire went to the plenum! Now I only ran only 2 wires out of the battery bay! 1 to the frame by the hood switch and 1 to the plenum. Went out from the plenum with more wires!

2 wire went from the first wire going to the plenum to the factory ground wires on the timing cover!

3 wire went from the timing cover over to the corner of the timing cover!

4 wire went from the corner of the timing cover to the bolt on the plenum next to the throttle body!

5 wire went from the first wire on the plenum to the back of the plenum!

Heres the finished product!

I will post the rest of the ground kit when i finish it! But what a difference we fill now! Next is to ground the transmission and the ecu!
