Didn't have problems with my clutch but the liquid was just due for a change. The engagement feels a tiny bit better now!
What you were seeing was water in the fluid. It's natural. It absorbs it. The reason Infiniti doesn't want you using DOT 5 fluid is because it DOES NOT absorb water and it sits in little puddles in your brake and clutch lines and fittings rusting it out from the inside. Stick with a DOT 3/4 type.

BTW, I had the "clutch pedal that won't come back up" problem and I flushed the system and it went back to normal.

1/8" to 1/4" inner diameter, depending on the hardness of the hose for an easy connection. You can get one anywhere, like a fuel hose for a weedwacker, etc.
