Cylinder Numbers
Hi Guys,

I got code 305 today, so a misfire in cylinder 5. Now which one is cylinder number 5?

Ok, I know. Not helpful at all. Before a mod gets mad at me... the 5th cylinder is the one on the passenger side by the firewall.

The cylinder numbers are marked on the coil wires.

ah didn't know that the numbers were on the coil wires. Thanks guys

Reversed coil packs 3 and 5, if it comes back with a cylinder 3 miss fire, then it's the coil pack. So far no stuttering or engine codes

Good idea. My cousin and I did that on his Bonneville. Turned out it was the coil, so we replaced them all.
