Motordyne copper isothermal hose fitment

What's the consensus for coolant line fitment with the copper piece on the isothermal spacer kit? I've seen comments here and on my350z that there was a change in hose size for the TB connection during the revup production run. Some people have decided not to install the copper piece because the connection was noticeably different.

Hope I'm not spreading false information - I would like to utilize the copper unit on my late 2006 G. Haven't purchased yet.

I was hoping not to disturb the master, but I might just do that

They should all be the same. The copper gasket is the most difficult part of the install because its a tight fit, but it works great.
