oil leak!
oil leak!
i just came back from my friends shop for oil change and he told me that theres oil leak somewhere. wtf?!? my car only has 37xxx miles!!!
my bumper 2 bumper warranty just expired this april. now all im left with is powertrain warranty. is that under powertrain warranty? i already went to local stealership and they told me they need 2 find out where the leak is and depends on where it is. but 120 fvckin dollars 2 look at da car?!? she said if its falls into powertrain warranty then i don't have 2 pay for it but if it doesn't then i have 2 pay 120. right now i'm struggling pretty bad with money. i lost one of da jobs thanx to this economy! idk what 2 do here! i really would appreciate some suggestions here! thanx!

Put the car up on jack stands and start looking. Find the leak and post pictures. Then we can help you. BTW, he's not much of a friend if he didn't help you look for the leak.
Looks like we are in the same boat, I lost my proof reader job at the local paper as well.
Just as an FYI..... today I woke up and found a small puddle of oily substance it turned out to be engine oil i was freaking out i took it to my dads mechanic after a complete inspection it turned out to be a defective clamp on a hose that connects to my oil filter I spend 33 cents on a special clamp that they sell in discount... worked like a charm according to the mechanic those little butterfly clamps arent good for anything under preassure so he recommended these special ones that cover the whole clamp of the hose and is tighten with a flat head... hope this helps anyone.... ANDY
so i decided 2 take it 2 a local shop for a leak detection b4 i take it 2 stealership. that way if stealership say anything stupid i know whats up cuz fresno infiniti is known for shady ****. quick question. i have an aftermarket intake right now. should i change it 2 stock intake box? just in case if they try 2 give me **** for it?
