VALVE COVERS RTV or NO RTV???

Ok so I am going to install valve covers. Oil in the sparkplug tubes...

Should I use any RTV on the valve covers? I know it comes with a rubber gasket, but what about the corners, looks like from the factory they have some on there? Should I remove the old RTV and apply new stuff on the corners? Anyone recommend just using RTV on the whole thing to ensure no leaks???

Thanks for the input.....

Yes, use the RTV where the stock RTV was located (front side of engine on the head).

Here's a pic from when I did the VC swap. I used high temp RTV.
