Mishimoto radiator
Mishimoto radiator
hi guys,
i just installed my mishimoto radiator on my G sedan over the weekend, but i have a problem. My lower hose is rubbing against one of the pulley so when i drove down the street yesterday it busted the hose. Is there by any chance i can make the lower hose to clear the pulley? did i install it wrong?

yeah i will try it with the new hose this week, they dont have the hose instock so i have to place an order. i will give you guys an update
thanks for your response guys, now i have another problem. If i cruise around for 10-15 mins the temp gauges shoots up like crazy. No heater, no leaks in the engine. So i took it back home release the air bubbles and rev it up till 3K rpm and still over heats. Could it be a bad thermostats? please advice. Thanks
with regard to the hose, make sure its on the right way. the lower radiator hose only fits in one direction even though it looks to be symmetrical.
with regard to overheating, it sounds like you have air in your system. you can check by turning your heat up to 90F when the engine is cold. don't turn on the A/C, just the heater fans. if you don't get really hot air then you have an air bubble in your coolant system.
there's some good threads on my350z for how to remove the air bubble. the best way i know is to get one of those bleeder funnels (lisle 24610) and follow the directions. check this thread: http://www.my350z.com/forum/forced-i...nightmare.html

ok guys we tried to get rid of the air bubbles everything works fine but it still overheats. So i touch the lower hose and its cool not hot. So it should be the Thermostat forsure huh?
