Stock ur spark automatically starts dyin' out at high speed & RPMs, Nissan did this as a fail safe, like the rev limiter. w/an ignition amp, you have optimal spark throughout the power band. when i was at Technosquare, i had my rev limit raised to 71k too. the car just keeps pulling, hard, well passed 100mph.

I would like to see the voltage output of the stock packs as far as dying out.

I guess I'll give you some valuable information. The only real need to use anything like that is if you plan on running some serious boost (15+ PSI). The coil over plug system that comes W/ the Z's and G's are fairly strong. If you do decide to blow some money on an ignition system, based on my personal experience I would go MSD. The HKS system is an easy install but I have had a problem with the HKS system on my boosted Z. I actually fell that the HKS system directly contributed to my second motor being blown.

Here is an interesting perspective. XKR (not sure if you guys know him over here but browse the FI section) gave me his HKS DLI II (he threw it in with some stuff I bought) because with some dyno testing Forged Performance did on his last build i think it was 800whp at 22psi. It made no noticeable difference so our ignition systems are very capable as is and you could spend your $300-500 better places.
