vk45de In A Gsedan
A VH will hold stupid amounts of power. I remember reading about some guys that build race boats in New Zealand using them. IIRC they were getting around 2000HP
They said a Toyota V8 tore itself in half a little over 1000 and were bragging on the Nissan V8. I don't remember where that was, but Google should help.

The vq45de does fit with some additional modifications for the mounting and for some clearance. The only issue is that the stock throttle body/intake manifold is located up top of the engine, so it will stick out too much. Either you chop off a portion of the hood to provide it the clearance it needs, or try finding a different throttle boy/intake manifold that will give it better clearance. I know because this swap i wanted to do. Thats about the only issue i can think of.
nothing new to Nissan (actually Datsun) - 240/260/280 have been dropping V8s for years.
^They still haven't done a V8 sports car though, despite the fact that all manner of V8's have been put into the Z cars. They should release a limited edition 560Z with the new M56 engine. Just run off like 500-1000 numbered collector's models. I think it would be cool.
But the way things have gone - it's very, very, very doubtful.
I would bet Nissan follows others with mostly eco cars...
I'd rather see a G56 before a TT G37 IMHO. Especially with the 23473-2478324 electric nannies attached to that motor. But the M56 is getting a hybrid and diesel options I believe.

It's weird hearing a V8 from an import.
