BLOWN ring...now what to do??

hey guys/gals need a bit of advice..i have an 05AT that is FI(procharged) also has the kinetix upper plenum. motor has stock internals/exhaust..i had a tune about 4 mo.ago also had my mechanic check a few other things i thought were "off" appears i have a blown ring. i was eventually going to build the motor a bit anyways but im not sure where to start..ive heard CP pistons and eagle rods are great internals but im not sure what compression to get,ive seen 8 : 5 : 1 , 11 : 0 : 1 which are better to get and will my motor need to be bored anyway? ..also what size injectors and exhaust to get? current whp is 347..aiming for 4-420whp...any info is greatly appreciated!!!

thanks

eagle rods/wiseco pistons are what a mojority of people are running.
If you want to stick with CP pistons then go for 8.5:1

I say always get .020 over bore
Get DW 600cc injectors and you should be straight.

Exhaust any twin should be good all a matter of taste.

you might consider getting a rev-up oil pump as well, and I would get some valve springs...I'd go with JWT springs.

I'd contact a well known builder and ask them for a recommendation. They might even have a short/long block available to limit your down time.

If I could go back i'd go with 9.0:1. Not sure if CP has them, but I'd try. I'd ask the person tuning your car what they are comfortable with.

.20 over, new HG (HR or HKS), Arp headstuds (or HR), new oil pump, new bearings, new water pump, rebalance crank = minimum for piece of mind.

engine removal depends on whether you have a lift or not and whether or not.

If you can use a lift, you can just drop the engine through the bottom of the car and save a lot of time.

If you don't have one you will need to remove the transmission, then disconnect all wires, disconnect coolant lines, motor mounts. You should be able to use a hoist to pull it right out of the engine bay at that point.
